Sandringham Surf Life Saving Club
Unit 3 and 4 Visual Communication Design
SAT Folio and final presentations
The Sandringham council wants to rebuild and renovate the Sandringham Life Saving club for the community to enjoy. The current building was a small 2 story building with 1 bathroom, 1 outdoor shower, a hire room upstairs, a balcony, a watch tower, and a storage room downstairs. There is a faded painted mural on the outside of the building of a beach aesthetic and beach symbols. The upstairs part of the building is very unused and there aren’t many necessary facilities such as bathrooms and showers that are very outdated hence the need for a renovation.
Communication Need 1: The Sandringham council requires a concept for a new Life Saving Club, common area inside and outside for venue hiring and facilities for the community to use.
Communication Need 2: The Sandringham council requires a new visual identity, branding, typeface and council advertising for the new updated and renovated Life Saving Club.
