My intention with this project was to take a creative risk by challenging a key principle in filmmaking: good lighting. Since all of the principal photography took place at night, I relied heavily on available light sources to create a distinct mood. The result was an atmospheric drama centered on a student, academic freedom and the darker side of an institution. Introducing unique concepts like the 'Mandatory Education Authority' (MEA), I aimed to build a world that felt expansive and immersive. I wanted to evoke a sense of curiosity in my audience, encouraging them to engage with the issues presented in the film and identify with the themes it explores.
