My finished artwork depicts the projection of self-identity and the distortion of words that it creates onto a subject matter works in relation to artwork one. Identity is projected on the physical body to indicate the way people think about themselves and the way they are viewed by others, and how that defines them. Societal pressure hinders people’s ability to find themselves, therefore causing lack of identity and belonging, whereas if the words that are projected are positive it helps with growth so the subject can finds themself and make up who they are.
