Brief

The client

My client is an outdoor education instructor who has been practicing for many years and is very well known in the local community of Halls Gap. Currently Steve’s job only takes him to halls gap but in the near future he is looking to expand cross country. Steve has recently purchased a 2019 Toyota hiace SLWB Commuter van and wants to remodel the interior so it can act as a home. Steve is looking to have a bike rack on the exterior so that he can explore places where a van can’t go. He is requiring to have a fully functional living quarters including a bed, 90+ litre fridge, a stove top and oven, as well as a toilet and preferable an indoor shower. Steve requires these so that he can have afunctional yet practical lifestyle in a non-traditional home.

Presentation 1

The van fully renovated will be presented as a three-dimensional presentation or a model so that it can show the client how it will all layout, within the van. While also showing the colour pallet and materials chosen.

Presentation 2

If the remodeling of the van is successful, my client wishes to register the design with a patent. This will include the brand name ‘Life on Wheels’. There is already commercial interest in the design and therefore a need to develop basic information about the design features. The client has requested that I create a simple presentation that could be used in the future as a flyer or swing tag when being marketed.
